22nd February 1992

1545 hrs – A search is underway of the River Avon by helicopter and Police Dive teams.
1600 hrs – An offer of help was put in to the incident room at Maddiston police station.
1700 hrs – The offer of help was accepted by Inspector Crawford, the team were requested to be at Maddiston Police Station for 1000 hrs to begin the search. The team are put on stand-by.

 

 

23rd February 1992

0800 hrs – The trailer was taken to the stores to uplift all the gear and the team were ready.
1000 hrs – The team started the search at Maddiston and continued until 1700 hrs but no trace of a body was found.
The Police asked the team to return at 1000 hrs the following day (24th Febraury) to resume the search.
1900 hrs – A body was found in the River Avon that tide and the Police confirmed that the team were no longer required.
The team was stood down.
