A warm welcome to all Rotarians visiting this page.
IRC did their first talk to Rotary in 1984 and have given talks and received donations every year since – which makes them our longest term supporter.
IRC are a specialist Urban Search and Rescue team responding to natural and man-made disasters all over the world. The ethos ‘United To Save Life’ applies to every action of our volunteer specialists.

There are a number of ways that Rotarians can be involved with IRC
- As we use specialist equipment you could provide technical advice during equipment procurement.
- Our volunteers go through a rigorous training programme and you may be able to help with training in areas such as equipment use and civil engineering.
- You may be able to help with volunteer recruitment or be a volunteer for front-line or support activities such as communication controllers.
- International Rotarians can provide support to the IRC when they arrive in a disaster area and provide liaison during the post disaster recovery phases.
