This weekend IRC is giving first aid cover with a trauma specialist & team of marshals to help the event run smoothly. The Edinburgh Riding of the Marches will take place tomorrow Sunday, 7th of September and promises to be a truly spectacular occassion.
In association with leading veterans charity Poppyscotland, this event will commemorate the outbreak of the First World War and will see a 270 strong mounted cavalcade return to the Royal Mile led by the Edinburgh Captain and Lass, Stuart Mitchel and Kay Robertson.
So for a day out with a difference go and see the Edinburgh Ridings of the Marches. This is a historic event that has become a tradition.
The day will involve about 270 horses riding an area on the south side of Edinburgh. It will finish with the horses making their way to Holyrood Park finishing by the palace.
